Safety training for wind power industry

Falck Safety Services offers dedicated safety training for personnel working in the wind power industry, both onshore and offshore.
Our Basic Safety Training (BST) consists of five modules. The aim of this training is to provide a solid foundation in a broad range of basic skills including working and rescue at heights, safety awareness, survival at sea, fire extinguishing and manual handling – all of them delivered to the standards of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). GWO is a cooperation between owners and manufacturers in the wind industry. The GWO's goal is to create a safer work environment for personnel in the industry.
From our new state-of-the-art training centre just a short 20 minute drive from Schiphol Airport and a ten minute ferry ride from Amsterdam Central Station, we deliver realistic training exercises designed to provide personnel at all levels with the skills and insights they need to stay safe at work.
As all our Amsterdam facilities are indoor, we can provide the GWO training no matter the weather. With our training centre in Rotterdam (Maasvlakte) also offering the GWO training on our indoor and outdoor facilities, the weather is no barrier to training there either. At the start of 2015, our Rotterdam GWO training was recognised with a Siemens accreditation.
