Three certificates, one course

The MBS207 combination course combines three courses. In only five days participants complete the basic course for NOGEPA (0.5A), OPITO (BOSIET) and the basic shipping course STCW02 (Basic Safety Training). Since the introduction in 2007, the combination course is booked by a lot of customers.

The benefit of this course is that your employees can work worldwide for the offshore- or shipping industry without any problems. The course is particularly useful for companies that work in both the shipping- and offshore industries, such as pipe layers, drilling vessel owners, survey ships and suppliers.

The STCW02 retains its validity if the individual in question has at least one year of service time in a five-year period. Participants are only required to repeat the offshore course every four years (this is the two-day OBS2051 course with NOGEPA 0.5B and OPITO FOET certification). Basically this means that every employee has to train only two days extra to get a lifetime certificate for the Basic Safety Training STCW02.
