In August 2009, Shell (and NAM in The Netherlands) launched a new ILO DVD. Everybody who has to work offshore for Shell or NAM worldwide has to do this ILO course. It was already possible to follow the ILO program at the training centers of Falck Nutec in The Netherlands, but from now on the new program will be provided. The advantage for participants is that they can either do the ILO directly after an offshore course, or during an offshore course. After answering 20 questions correctly Falck Nutec will stamp and date the Personal Safety Logbook of the participant. Please inform our booking department if ILO is needed when booking a basic or refresher course. In addition to the ILO training it is also possible to see the DVD of the lifesaving rules from Shell, and get a stamp for this in your PSL. This saves time if you are visiting Shell for the first time (otherwise you have to watch the DVD before going offshore).
